Successively student at the Met Pennighen school, at Icart, and at Nanterre university, Jean-Luc Ferrand has created his society at the flea market, Marché Biron, in 1990.
Specializing in interior design and selling antiques for 20 years, JLF Society is now opening up to modern art.

Barbara Cogollos graduated from high school where she specialized in art history. She then moved to Paris to live out her passion for history and antiques. Barbara obtained her bachelor’s degree in art trade and cultural mediation at ICART, and met Jean-Luc Ferrand during an internship with his company. At JLF, Barbara Cogollos currently works as their web marketing, community, and client relations manager, which includes overseeing the sales both online and in the boutique until delivery.

Fabien studied cabinetwork in Industrial Arts and Technical Trade school. He was an intern for five months with well-known tradesman, Mr. Bourdon, in France. As a cabinetmaker, he worked at Artlignum for seven months, and for four years at William Stuart. Passionately, he now works for JLF and is always looking to improve himself through various training programs in order to improve his technique (gilding at Palomares, lacquer at Christelle le Bloas…) He uses his knowledge to sublimate each object.

Andrea Martano graduated and received his PHD in Classics at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Milan, where he collaborated as temporary research fellow. He qualifies as Italian, Greek and Latin teacher and he becomes tenured teacher at secondary school. Passionate about history of art and decoration, he finally focuses his interests in antique furniture and art. At JLF Andrea Martano works on historical research about the objects and furniture and he takes care of clients in the showroom at L’Usine.
