Marcel Mulot (1931) is an autodidact painter who began his painter career in 1986 after many years as a railwayman. He chose to turn to abtract painting from this moment and abandoned portraits and landscapes, influenced by cubism but also by a multi-mediums art. Indeed, he adds to his painting, cardboard, blotter, burlp or music papers.
He belongs to many societies and salons as the Salon Regain at Lyon, the Center of researches, Studies and Cultural Animations at Villeurbanne, the Amicale des Amateurs d’Arts at Paris. He received many rewards as the bronze medal “Arts, Sciences and Letters” in 1971 and the silver one in 1978 as also many others during different expositions.
