Johannes Andersen (1903-1991) was a Danish designer who studied woodworking and then opened his own architecture and furniture design workshop in 1930. He created many furniture in teck or rosewood and his success follows the Danish design one that soared in the 1950’s and 1960’s. He also worked in collaboration with great companies as CFC Silkeborg, Trensum, Bramin, etc.
Known for his way to play with shapes, he created originals and useful , comfortable and aesthetic furniture. His most famous furniture are his coffee tables with movable writing leaves as we can see it.
