Gustave Raynaud (1915-1972) was a French ceramist who largely collaborated with his brother-in-law Jean Derval within the Atleir du Mûrier, founded in Vallauris, near Cannes. Major spot of the creation of ceramics after the war, the workshop would be notably frequented by Picasso and other artists during their stays in the Côte d’Azur. Very desired for their particular enamel, a large number of pieces would be produced between the 1960’s and the 1980’s.
