Aldo Londi is an Italian ceramist born in 1911 in Montelupo, near Florence. It dealt with different themes, as varied as vases, animals, jugs or even candlesticks. He held the position of artistic director within the Bitossi company for almost 50 years. He created a collection called Rimini Blu, which has remained famous, for this factory. It is characterized by glazes and layers of blue, in homage to the Mediterranean Sea.
Bitossi Ceramiche is a historic company founded in 1536. It produces handcrafted pieces in fireclay, glazed and enamel.
