The Sainte-Radegonde factory was active in Tours between the end of the 19th century and the 1960’s. It notably collaborated with Primavera, the furniture and decoration workshops of the Printemps Parisian department shop, in order to create lines of tableware in ceramic and earthenware. Founded in 1912 thanks to René Guilleré, Primavera would be attached to the production of affordable items designed by artists until its closing in 1972. The workshop was represented by a pavilion drawn by Henri Sauvage at the 1925 Decorative Arts International Exhibition of Paris in 1925.
