Louis XVI period giltwood mirror, late 18th century

Large rectangular Louis XVI style mirror in carved, painted and giltwood. A fret frieze flanks the frame. Rosette decoration on the uptights and latticed background with bigger rosettes on angles. At the lower part of the frame’s angles, acanthus leaves extensions and, at the upper part, cassolettes in the same way. Horizontal uprights adorned with flowery garlands, on the top they’re framing a small circular mirror topped by a knotted ribbon.
