Pair of Directoire style armchairs in lacquered metal, 1970’s

Pair of Directoire style armchairs in black lacquered metal standing on four legs : two cabriole front legs and two saber back legs, linked with each other by a X stretcher.
Back with a gilt decor of leaves, scrolls, ribbon and frame; it is composed by two leaned arches linked with each other by a medallion with a gilt decor of flowers in an oval.
Straw seat covered by a movable cushion in red suede. Slope arms decorated with gilt frames. Apron adorned with gilt trimmings.

Work realized in the 1970’s.

Straw seat used on one armchair and perced in the other.

Dimensions : H 92 x W 58 x D 53 cm.

Possibility to associate them with a Directoire style coffee table.
