Pair of Louis XV style bergeres in off-white lacquer and gilt wood, 1970’s

Pair of Louis XV style, basket shaped, in off-white lacquered and gilt wood standing on four cabriole legs with a decor of fans. Scalloped apron adorned in its centre with flowers and foliage. Full moulded armrests with manchettes. Basket shaped back with tormented shape mounts adorned with a central motif of flowers and foliage. 

Trim entirely reupholstered by our workshop with a Rubelli fabric, GRITTI reference, GRIGIO colour. Rubelli is historical Venetian fabric manufacture and was created in the late 19th century with now workshops in Cuccagio, Italy, in the former Zanchi workshops. This Manufacture produces high quality and luxury fabrics, also used for La Scala or La Fenice theaters. 

Work realized in the 1950’s.
