Pair of Louis XV style cabriolet armchairs in cream lacquer, circa 1900

Pair of Louis XV style cabriolet armchairs in carved and cream lacquered wood standing on four cabriole legs; front legs received a flowers decor. Scalloped apron decorated with a central foliaged flower. Armrest supports slightly behind the leg line, armrest decorated with manchettes and ending in scrolls.
Slightly curved back with double indentation and scalloped uprights receiving a decor of acanthus leaves on sides and a central flower.
Vertical central rail reinforcing the armchair back.

Work realized circa 1900.

Trim, cushion and manchettes entirely reupholstered by our workshop with a Rubelli fabric, BACCARAT reference, ORO colour. Rubelli is historical Venetian fabric manufacture and was created in the late 19th century with now workshops in Cuccagio, Italy, in the former Zanchi workshops. This Manufacture produces high quality and luxury fabrics, also used for La Scala or La Fenice theaters.
