Pair of Louis XVI style armchairs in gilded and carved wood, “Marie-Antoinette” model, the top of the back decorated with a basket, garlands and flowers and its frame decorated with a finely beaded frieze, the armrests with cuffs set back from the line of the foot with cornucopia decoration, the base ending in the upper part with a gadroon, the connecting dice decorated with rosettes. Backrest, seat and armrests upholstered with fabric decorated with white foliage on a blue background.

Napoleon III period. Circa 1880.
