Small Rocaille style sofa, natural walnut and gilt highlights, late 19th century

Small Rocaille style sofa in natural carved walnut with gilt highlights. It stands on four cabriole legs and uprights and crosspieces are sinuous and scalloped. Rich rocaille ornamentation on the carved wood, such as c-scrolls, foliage and scrolls.

Work realized late 19th century.

Trim entirely reupholstered by our workshop with a Rubelli fabric, CASABLANCA reference. Rubelli is historical Venetian fabric manufacture and was created in the late 19th century with now workshops in Cuccagio, Italy, in the former Zanchi workshops. This Manufacture produces high quality and luxury fabrics, also used for La Scala or La Fenice theaters.
