Baluster lamp in green iridescent porcelain and gilt bronze, circa 1880

Baluster lamp in green iridescent porcelain standing on a gilt and chiselled bronze mount with a base decorated by small flowers on four wounded acanthus leave shaped foot.

The mount is fixed on the bulged body of the baluster thanks to two women protome heading acanthus leaves forming handles. The body is linked to the high part of the mount by gilt bronze sticks. Circular shaped high part of the mount, adorned with a frieze of cabochons and foliaged gadroons.

Work realized during the 1880’s.
