Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988) is trained to the metalwork at the Boulle School, and he is graduated in 1921. He works for several French industrials but also exposes his personal creation in his proper name in the late 1920’s. He has deep classical inspirations and his creation shapes remind those from the 17th and 18th centuries. He received few prestigious orders in the 1930’s such as the doors of the Palais de Chaillot and grids and lightings of the Eiffel Tower restaurant.
