Bottle shaped cracked beige celadon porcelain lamp with a ring on the thinest part of the collar.
Chiseled and gilt bronze mount on a square base with canted corners topped by an olive branches torus. Decoration of laurel wreaths attached by a ribbon forming handle on each side of the lamp’s body.
The upper part is highly adorned with cabochons, hearts and acanthus leaves.
Work from the late 19th century.
Former petrol lamp equipped with a new and functional electrical system.
This cracked celadon porcelain imitates the Guan ware, official pieces of the Chinese Song Dynasty (960-1279) and fully appreciated during the 18th under the Qianlong Dynasty (1736-1795).
