Maison Rispal is a lighting store that was founded in 1924 in Paris. It was active until 1982. In its early days, this house offered classic lighting. But in the 1950s, the company decided to publish avant-garde models, with the evocative title of its catalog “New Forms”, whose models were inspired by Scandinavian design and even by Jean Arp. These pieces were made with exotic woods, with their lampshades made with the particular technique of cellulose acetate. The company was taken over twenty years ago by an enthusiast, who reissues models created in the 20th century.
